This week I have been thinking a lot about systems theory. In specific, thinking about how in systems theory, when families have issues, it boils down to a learned pattern that has existed for quite some time. I really like the idea that when I have issues or conflict within my family, it can be resolved by changing reaction and communication patterns. I have been trying to stop and think before I react to different situations, and think to myself,
this reaction doesn't usually work. What should I try instead that would yield the desired outcome?
